They don't mourn by crying as we do, but they do become depressed, lethargic, lose their appetite and experience disturbed sleep patterns. Aside from tears, they "seem" to feel the loss of a community member. How else does one explain their behavior? As social intelligence? It is that intelligence and their ability to bond with one another which makes it likely they experience grief as well.
